Jan has been teaching Yoga and Tai Chi in the Annapolis area for well over a decade. Because of her love of nature, many of her classes are held outside close to the water or in the parks. After years of teaching fitness related classes, she is now focused on the Healing Arts of Yoga, Tai Chi and Reiki in an effort to offer classes geared towards balance, meditation and flowing movements. These forms can be relaxing but also rejuvenating. Through meditation we learn how to deal with stress and in turn deal with everything. Whether it's moving meditation in Tai Chi or seated meditation as in Yoga, it's all good for the soul. It just naturally spills out into everyday life making little or big things that occur in our daily living that much easier to handle. Reiki is also a way to relax the body allowing energy to take care of the rest. It is a beautiful, fascinating journey.

Walking Clubs, Girls Scouts, Group Organizations, Literacy Council, Multiple Sclerosis, Leukemia, Cystic Fibrosis, American Heart Association and has contributed many hours of volunteer time to organizations locally. Goals: To reach as many people as physically possible on the importance and significance of living a healthy life through mind, body and spirit. Jan is certified in Sun Style Tai Chi and teaches locally through the Arthritis Foundation. |
